Very inspirational stuff right here, makes me smile every time.
"God give us the grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed, the courage to change the things that should be changed, and the wisdom to distinguish the one from the other." --Reinhold Niebuh "In times of stress, the best thing we can do for each other is to listen with our ears and our hearts and to be assured that our questions are just as important as our answers." --Fred "Mister" Rogers "Even as fire finds peace in its resting place without fuel, when thoughts become silence the soul finds peace in its own source. When the mind is silent, then it can enter into a world which is far beyond the mind. This is wisdom, and this is liberation." --The Upanishads How Can You Reduce The Stress Of Completing A Project? The Guide! This really seems to be a very common problem among people I know personally. Also people around the world have this problem too. I know the struggle of this because I know how it feels to be stressed about finishing a project. I finally graduated college and it was an absolute nightmare to get some of my projects in on time. It can be more stressful than a lot of people actually realize. People tend to ask themselves, how can you reduce the stress of completing a project? I usually reply to myself with, you just need to bite the bullet and get the damn work done. Sometimes that's not as easy as it sounds, and sometimes you need a little extra help to accomplish whatever project you need to get done. Luckily I found a couple of interesting methods online like this site and MayoClinic.org as well has some great info. Here are 5 tips that I have started using to reduce stress when I feel like I just cant handle my project anymore. 1. Force yourself to finish the project as fast as possible, then after you are done you can sit back and relax knowing that your project is already finished. You can do whatever you want and knowing that your project is finished will take away ALL of you anxiety and you will be asking yourself what stress? I forgot what stress feels like, what is that again? 2.Take A Nap This one sounds really weird but it actually does work, set your alarm to go off in a couple hours and take a quick nap. Sometimes a little bit of sleep can go a long way to helping you reduce the stress in your life. So whenever I am asking myself how can you reduce the stress of completing a project? I always go straight to this solution because sleep usually really makes me feel better about everything.I jump in my comfy bed with Egyptian cotton sheets Try not to oversleep and not have enough time to actually finish your project. 3. Have A Couple Drinks Although I would not recommend getting drunk while you are trying to complete a big project, it might be a great Idea to make yourself a few mix drinks to get you loose while you are trying to get your project finished. When I have a big project I need to finish I almost always have myself a 6 pack to kick back and have a few beers because It is excellent for me to feel a little more relaxed. This will lower your stress exponentially, remember not to drink on the job because that is just a recipe for disaster. Unless your boss is cool with it which I am guessing probably not. 4. Take A Break This kind of goes with the whole taking a nap thing but instead you can do something more productive, you could even maybe work on a different project that is not so stressful. Sometimes just taking a small break can help a great amount. Something I would recommend is going for a long walk to clear your head. If you are asking yourself how can you reduce the stress of completing a project then this might be a great solution to that problem. 5.Listen To Some Music Sometimes music really helps me reduce stress in my life, and when you are working sometimes a little bit of music is a good idea. I actually usually always have my radio playing when I am working on a big project. So go ahead and rock out to some of your favorite jams and see if that helps you at all. It probably will. So in the beginning of this post you were asking yourself, how can you reduce the stress of completing a project? Well there are 5 full proof methods that I use for this exact problem. I hope that you can put them to good use as well! Whoever made this deserves a huge pat on the back, I agree completely with each of these statements.
Alright picture this in your head right now, you are sitting there minding your own business on a park bench in the middle of the day just hanging out. All of a sudden a giant bear comes out of the woods and stares at you, you become terrified instantly and your first instinct is to run away. Then the bear just sits there and decides it wants to watch you for a little while. Soon you begin to realize that the bear is not really there to hurt you its just there to scare you into thinking you are going to get hurt. I like to compare this to anxiety and stress because first of all anxiety is exactly like that feeling. The feeling that you are going to die or get attacked, this feeling can be very overwhelming for you. I also like to compare this to stress because like I said, stress is not there to hurt you its just there to trick you into thinking you are going to get hurt.
Sometimes people forget that stress is only temporary and it will go away with due time, eventually that bear is going to have to go do something else because he is going to get bored of staring at you. Stress is the same way, eventually your stress will fade away and you can go back to living your normal life again. But when you truly are stressed out it really feels like nothing is going to get better for you. And you feel like there is just way too much going on in your life. I know how you feel, in fact everybody in the world knows how you feel because this is a very natural feeling for anybody to have. Just remember that its only temporary and it will go away. Sometimes you need help getting that stress or anxiety to go away, sometimes its not so easy to just wait it out and let nature run its course. That's okay, as long as you are finding some natural solutions to your problem they its okay to find some help for stress and anxiety. There are tons of different ways to get rid of stress and anxiety you just need to do a little bit of research. You can do yoga, meditation, hell you can even have a couple of drinks. Although I would reccommend you not drink too often because that can make it worse in the long run if you rely too heavily on that. Anyways my point is, try not to worry when your stress and anxiety has you at a low. Because time heals all wounds and sometimes time can be quicker than you think. Surprisingly this is not talked about very much but I wanted to chime in on this a little bit. Yoga is an excellent way to deal with the overwhelming stress in your life. I am surprised that people do not already know this and they are not doing it already. Anyway's here are a couple of cool videos on yoga so you can start practicing soon. Enjoy! I think that there are actually 30 of these videos so you can watch these 3 and then go to YouTube and try and find the other ones. I am not going to post 30 videos for you guys sorry. :) This is my very first blog so please take it easy on me, I have little experience in this but I do love to be informative and educational sometimes. If you are stressed out, or have some anxiety problems I would like to help and that is why I created this blog. I want to get some practice in for when I become a shrink. I want to welcome all of you to the blog and I really do hope that you have a great time!
